Visitors on Campus
No outside visitors or volunteers will be allowed on the school campus for the safety and well-being of students. During the school day, anytime there is a need for a parent/guardian to pick up their child, they will call the office from the parking lot and their child will be escorted to them. Essential visitors to facilities will be required to wear face coverings and will be restricted in their access to our school building.
Visitors to Mater Christi School will be limited by appointment only. Generally appointments and parent conferences will be done remotely using Zoom Pro to limit potential contamination and exposure to COVID-19 in the school facilities. During arrival and dismissal, Parish Center Entrance marked Door A will be made available for any in person questions by appointment only. Any individual seeking to enter the building during the school day (Main School Entrance marked Door B) will ring the doorbell and will be greeted at Door B by the office manager. All visitors must have their temperature taken and fill out a screening questionnaire provided in the New York Forward Pre-K to Grade 12 School Guidelines for staff, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
Visitors must follow all safety protocols as listed in When Arriving at MCS section.
