Visiting Mater Christi School

Parents are strongly encouraged to visit Mater Christi School through either a personal visit or during one of our open houses.

Personal Visits
Please feel free to schedule a personal visit to Mater Christi School by contacting the school office. During your visit you will meet with our Principal, Mr. Matthew Murphy, and have time to ask any questions you may have regarding our curriculum and programs.  You will then be given a tour of the school, allowing you to briefly observe classes while they are in session.  It is a wonderful way to personally experience our school and learning environment.  Please call 518.489.3111 or email the principal.

Open Houses
Mater Christi School hosts several different open houses during the school year, one of which coincides with a national celebration of Catholic Schools Week at the end of January.  Open Houses at Mater Christi School are welcoming events, hosted by our school Principal, Mr. Matthew Murphy.  When you arrive, you will be offered a guided tour by one of our current students or returning alumni ambassadors which will provide an opportunity to hear a student’s view of all that our school has to offer.   Throughout the tour you will also have time to speak to any of our classroom teachers who will be happy to answer any grade-specific questions you may have. 

Please join us in the cafeteria for refreshments during the Open House, where members of our school’s PTO and School Board will also be available to give a parent’s perspective, answer questions, and provide additional information on all that Mater Christi School has to offer.
