2022-2023 Annual Appeal
Dear Friends of Mater Christi School,
Since becoming Principal in July, I have been constantly inspired by our teachers, students, families and parish community as a whole. I am humbled to be a part of this vibrant community and blessed to be in a position to build upon the traditions that have made MCS an outstanding institution in the Capital District for almost 70 years.
This year at MCS, we begin each day as a school community with an enthusiastic, "GOOD MORNING," from our students. We take this time to come together to pray, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and share a "fun fact of the day". The energy felt from our students, as well as the knowledge that our faith is at the core of everything we do, inspires us to answer the daily call to be Catholic School educators.
I believe that each child holds the future in their hands. It is with this knowledge that you will most often find me walking the halls, visiting classrooms or meeting with groups of students to ensure that our children have everything they need to become the adults who will make a difference in our world tomorrow. I humbly ask for your support in providing for the needs of our students through this year's Annual Appeal.
I have learned that your contributions to our Annual Appeal have been a constant blessing over the years. Your generosity has strengthened our school's resources and helped to ensure that families that wish to provide a Catholic Education for their child may do so, regardless of their financial position. You provide for our present and future with your gifts.
We continue to seek donations for these three areas:
- The Endowment Fund, which will carry our school far into the future, providing an outstanding education for generations to come.
- The Tuition Assistance Fund, which will allow us to provide a Catholic Education to families who with to attend our school but are not able to pay the full cost of tuition.
- Where most needed.
Over the last fourteen years this Appeal has raised more that $210,000 in donations from alumni, parishioners, parents and grandparents of students, as well as community leaders and supporters. We are so thankful for this generous response.
We are grateful for your past support and welcome new supporters, hoping that you will be inspired to donate to the 2022-2023 Annual Appeal. If you would like to donate to this year's Annual Appeal, you may donate online at https://factsmgtadmin.com/give/appeal/mGa7yyAr9
