My name is Ashley Romand and I teach Kindergarten here at MCS. Mater Christi School and its community has become in many ways a second family to me. This is my third year at Mater Christi but my fourth year teaching elementary school. Mater Christi allowed me the opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream of being a teacher and inspiring students. I went to both Cazenovia College and the College of Saint Rose where I received my B.S. in Dual Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I then continued at Saint Rose where I acquired my M.S. in Literacy B-12. Currently, I am working on continuing to expand my own personal education. I love to be involved at school. I am often found helping out with various activities, including; PTO, hosting afterschool activities, and working on the schools accreditation program. In my personal free time I enjoy many outdoor activities, bowling, attending sporting events and reading!
